Celebrate the start of the festive season with grand floats, stunning costumes, your favourite characters and, of course, Santa!

It's been 84 wonderful years of the legacy that is the Farmers Santa Parade, and this year promises to provide some of the best celebrations yet.

Santa's Party

2.30pm-5pm | Aotea Square | FREE

After the parade, come and get your groove on at Santa’s Party from 2.30pm to 5pm in Aotea Square.

There's more fun to be had, with rides, giveaways, refreshments and that one last chance to see Santa before 25 December!

Peppa Pig and friends are all set to top off what is going to be the best Farmers Santa Parade ever with a free outdoor performance of the popular live show Jump in Muddy Puddles.

Looking out for those in need

The 84th annual Farmers Santa Parade is proud to announce The Salvation Army as the charity of choice for 2017. Those attending are asked to bring a gold coin donation and watch out for bucket collections on the day.

Santa’s Head Elf has been very busy with parade business choosing his costume, helping decorate floats and practicing parade day etiquette.

He’s also got some hot tips about the best spots for viewing the action and getting to the Farmers Santa Parade, while trying not to get too excited about Santa’s Party (he’s actually beside himself with excitement).
