Join your community park ranger for a free guided walk through a local park on the North Shore.

You’ll get to explore coastal forest while learning about a broad range of topics from bush ecology to the Māori and European history of the area.

"I planned these walks to offer an opportunity for people to learn more about the natural and cultural heritage of their local parks in the north, and to raise awareness of Auckland's parks and environmental issues," says Community Park Ranger Anna Baine.

"The walks also offer a chance for people to get out and about and meet some like-minded people in their community."

These walks are aimed at people with a good level of fitness and mobility.
