As the sun sets on the Glen Innes Town Centre, Bradley Lane Illuminated powers up. Special light displays illuminate the spectacular street art tucked away in the town centre’s small side streets; literally shining a light on the flourishing creativity of this Tamaki community.

Bradley Lane currently features 20 painted works, which includes five new works created in December 2017 by artists Askew One, DEOW, Erin Forsyth, Gary Silipa and Jonny 4Higher. Bradley Lane is an annual mural project started five years ago by Gary Silipa.

It involves a selection of New Zealand’s best mural and street artists dedicating an entire weekend to painting works of art on the walls of Bradley Lane and other side streets in the Glen Innes Town Centre.

Bradley Lane Illuminated is an opportunity for you to see the art at its best as Bradley Lane and other streets are brought to life with fun activities and Pacific and urban dance performances featuring AUĒ Contemporary Pacific Dance, Te Oro Bboy & B-girls, Ūreia Performing Arts Group and Crescendo Trust Aotearoa Performing Artists.

Take an inspiring stroll through the small circuit of streets at your own pace or join Te Oro’s guided tour to experience this unique celebration of urban art and Pacific culture.

Bradley Lane Illuminated is presented by TGTB Charitable Trust and supported by Te Oro, Tamaki Regeneration Company and the Glen Innes Business association.
