The latest exhibition from The Kauri Project.

Bringing together fourteen diverse artists, Āta Haere I Te Wao / A Walk in the Park is an exhibition exploring the relationship between people and kauri in response to the rapid spread of kauri dieback disease.

Opening event 30 June, 2pm features a spoken word performance by Marama Davidson, MP.

Additional public events on Saturday 21 July - Aroha Kauri Day:

  • 10am-12pm – Auckland Botanic Gardens, 102 Hill Road, Manurewa –  Family-friendly activities, exhibiting artists and researchers on hand to share knowledge.
  • 1pm-3pm – Nathan Homestead, 70 Hill Road, Manurewa – A series of short talks.
