Join one or both of our upcoming community planting days with Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) as part of a larger programme to help restore the Tamaki Estuary at Te Whakake/Pt England Reserve.

With Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board, Mobil Oil New Zealand and Foundation North support, Conservation Volunteers New Zealand will manage the community engagement and restoration works through native planting, rubbish pickups and weed and pest management to particularly degraded environments.

This winter, CVNZ will continue to work in partnership with the local community to help restore this area with community planting days which will help us get up to 7,000 native trees in the ground this year alone.

On Saturday 16 June and Saturday 30 June, we will be planting native trees and shrubs followed by a sausage sizzle. They promise both to be fun days out and a great opportunity to see this area develop and give back to your local environment.
