Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) would love for you to come along to this community event.

Ōrākei Local Board is restoring the stream in Waiata Reserve by getting rid of invasive weeds and replanting the stream banks with native plants.

A natural, clean and beautiful stream environment is good for native wildlife and creates a nicer space for people to enjoy.

Join our community planting day, bring all the family and stay for a free sausage sizzle afterwards.

What to bring: Gumboots or closed toe shoes, appropriate clothing, favourite spade, gardening gloves (optional). Some spades will also be provided.

Please note: Children are to be accompanied and supervised by an adult. There will be no rain date- planting will proceed rain, hail, or shine.
