An evening where mātauranga Māori, science and pūrakau meet. This will be a holistic discussion about kauri forests from a Māori perspective.

Join Te Rangitākuku Kaihoro (PhD candidate) and Dr Ihirangi Heke (Waikato/Tainui) to learn about mātauranga Māori research into rākau kauri (kauri trees) and the interconnectivity of kauri forests to our health and well-being.

Light refreshments provided.

He kaupapa rangapū te ahurei ki waenganui I Te Kaunihera o Tāmaki Makaurau me te iwi manaaki o Te Kawerau a Maki. Tirohia te whārangi ipurangi, te whārangi pukamata hoki mō ngā whakamārama. Ko ngā pukapuka hōtaka e wātea ana mai i te Rāhina, te 11 o Pipiri.
