Join the Auckland Astronomical Society and maramataka expert Rereata Makiha for a very special stargazing event.

Observe the Matariki cluster and other celestial objects which are integral for traditional navigation. Hear the legends of Puanga, the star that heralds the New Year for Te Kawerau a Maki.

Telescopes and binoculars will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

All ages. Wheelchair access.
