Artists are asked to respond to issues surrounding historical social constructs within Papakura.
Exploring memorials or public markers of death from both a historical and contemporary context.
Hau pervades the whole body yet is not located in any particular part of the body.
A portion of Hau can be gathered in a lock of hair, clothing or even from a footstep in the soil.
A memorial, item or place where someone who has passed can possess a person’s Hau.
