This exhibition’s stellar line-up features work by 10 women photographers: Edith Amituanai, Atanisha Fifita, Paris James-Ioane, Dariean Johnstone, Xeniya Porodnova, Tia Rangi-Dixon, Julie Saulue-Laborde, Grace Tangimataiti, Huia Taylor and Denise Tito.

Selected by Amituanai, the works dwell on a range of themes, from interiors and domestic space to portraits, suburban settings and the rural landscapes of south Auckland.

The mentoring aspect of the project, and passing on of knowledge by and for women, marks the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand.
