Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero – Makerspace, ground floor

Want to help those in need, learn some new skills, vent your frustrations and plot against the patriarchy?

All will be possible at our Wāhine Take Action maker workshops!

Like the wāhine of old, we’ll be networking and sharing; we’ll be making and donating to those in need; we’ll be doing our bit for the environment and we’ll get to keep some cool stuff as well.

Go Green: DIY Plant Swap

Wednesday 19 September, 6pm-8pm

Need some new species for your indoor forest or are you just starting out and want a few tips on how to bring your space alive? Sign up as a volunteer at a local community garden, celebrate the environment, give back to Papatuanuku, and take home some living décor. Bring in whatever you can - plants, cuttings, seeds, planters or any other gardening goods to swap and share!

Find us in the Makerspace on the ground floor for these activities.

Please note: The DIY Quilt-A-Thon that was scheduled for Saturday 15 September, 10am-4pm has been cancelled.
