Friends of Totara Park (FOTP) have a long history of working in Totara Park. The group currently consists of 8-10 members.

Their work consists of activities such as planting, weeding, track maintenance, nursery work and general maintenance duties.

The summer house is close to our workshop and tennis courts, it originally came from Remuera to Totara Park in 1933. The house is in desperate need for some maintenance.

Volunteers are needed to sand and paint the summer house shelter and sandblast and paint summer house windows.

  • Experience with sanding and painting an advantage
  • Have a keen attitude
  • Safety conscious

What will be provided:

How to get there

Take State Highway 1 south and get off at Manurewa Exit. Turn left onto Hill Road and left at the lights onto Charles Prevost Drive, follow this road and turn left at the round about onto Wairere Road, this will take you to Totara Park.

At the end of Wairere Road turn left onto single driveway, through the native trees on both sides of the road and you will arrive at our workshop on the left, car parking is on the right.
