Now summer is officially here, it’s time to brush off the tramping boots (or jandals) and head for the hills. But due to extreme kauri dieback risk, a little extra thought and planning are needed before we go bush.

This is a great way to find out what, where, when and how… to ensure these majestic giants grace our forests for future generations.

A panel of experts will discuss key points, followed by Q&A.

  • Dr Nick Waipara, Senior Scientist, Plant & Food Research,
  • Kauri Rescue Project;
  • Fredrik Hjelm, The Living Tree Company;
  • Auckland Council;
  • Te Kawerau a Maki;
  • Pamela Gill / Dr Dan Ducker, EcoMatters Restoration Team.

Facilitated by Damon Birchfield, CEO EcoMatters.

Due to limited spaces on the day (50), we are also making this hui available as a webinar.
