We are excited to announce our first snorkel day at Tāwharanui Marine Reserve using the vessel Norma Jean.

This snorkel day will be celebrating Seaweek. Please ensure you read the information prior to purchasing tickets.

Minimum age of 8 for the boat trip. Minimum age of 5 for the shore-based snorkelling.

When

Sunday 25 November

Session times - If you wish to snorkel at both sites you will need to register for both - just not at the same time!

9.30am

Please arrive 10mins prior to your start time.

All snorkel equipment included.

Parking

Parking is available at the access gate into the Tawharanui Regional Park.

Please note - NO DOGS ALLOWED.

What to bring

Togs, towel, sun hat, warm clothes and lunch. If you have your own snorkel gear you are welcome to bring it along as long as it is fit for purpose (no full face masks). Medication if you suffer seasickness (best to take first thing in the morning).

Cost

EMR is providing the snorkelling for free and Norma Jean Charters is giving us a great deal to get into the marine reserve.

Participation by koha/donation - you can donate when you purchase tickets - or in cash on the day.

$40pp for the Tawharanui boat trip.
