Playful Pop-up Books is an exhibition of 24 stunning examples of movable and pop-up books from Sir George Grey Special Collections.

Highlights include a tunnel book from 1851, a 1930s edition of Pinocchio, contemporary adaptations of the classic children’s stories Peter Pan and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and intricate private press pop-up books.

Escape the heat in the pop-up books reading zone or take a snap of the children in your lives by the dress-ups wall.

Join us for this fun, free activity for children and families in the city this summer.
