Growing great Aucklanders – spaces available now

Families across Auckland have been enjoying the care and attention of early childhood educators at Kauri Kids. Auckland Council has 10 Kauri Kids centres around Auckland, which provide safe, nurturing spaces that allow children to have fun learning while they grow.

The Kauri Kids’ team works closely with parents, whanau and in the community to grow and inspire Auckland’s children. They get out and about in the local community in parks and libraries, while celebrating the many cultures in the region. Some centres offer pre-school gym or swimming classes at their local council pool or leisure centre.

“At Kauri Kids, we offer quality educational learning for your children with a variety of experiences for them to enjoy,” Manager Early Childhood Services, Barbara Ludlow says.

“They learn to work alongside other kids, while exploring new and exciting things to do. The team will work closely with parents to understand what the aspirations are for their children, so we work together to enable these to happen.”

Kauri Kids provides affordable, flexible childcare options that meet your needs and lifestyles, and help give your child the very best start in life. All centres offer 20 hours free early childhood education, with some centres offering up to 30 hours free for children over the age of three years.

WINZ subsidies may also be available for your family; visit the WINZ website for more information.
