Auckland Council is committed to supporting community-led environmental initiatives across the region in its bid to become Pest Free by 2050.
At the recent Pestival held at the Aotea Centre, the day-long education and networking event attracted over 500 people showcasing what their local groups are doing in their areas.
Jesse Mulligan wrangled the audience over the day and Minister of Conservation Eugenie Sage delivered her vision for community groups' expanding roles in conservation.
