Annual Budget consultation meetings to be held for Great Barrier residents

Great Barrier annual budget opportunities with local board

Consultation on the Annual Budget for the financial year 2019/2020 is open until 17 March and there will be four local opportunities where Great Barrier residents can chat with their local board.

These will be informal meetings, so feel free to come along and have a say on proposed financial priorities for the coming year.

Board members will be there to listen to feedback on local projects and discuss any proposed changes to the regional rates and fees.

There will also be opportunities to give feedback on a discussion document about how water is managed in the region.

Meeting times:

• Sat 23 February, 10am at Stonewall Market, Tryphena
• Sat 2 March, 10am at Claris Store, Claris
• Sat 9 March, 10am at FitzRoy Store, Port FitzRoy
• Sat 16 March, 10am at Stonewall Market, Tryphena
