West Aucklanders turned out on October 15 to the community forum, Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa - Standing up for the Waitākere Ranges.
The forum was hosted by Waitākere Ranges Local Board at the Titirangi War Memorial Hall.
Passionate people of the west got to hear from board members and officers about what the council is doing to implement the Waitākere Ranges Heritage Area Act 2008.
The evening ended with a breakout session giving people the chance to provide their feedback.
