Auckland Council, Forest & Bird, QEII National Trust and the Gecko NZ Trust are working with community groups and individuals to create habitats for native wildlife to travel and breed safely between the Hauraki Gulf Islands and the Waitākere Ranges.

Auckland Council's senior biodiversity advisor Ben Paris spoke to Jesse Mulligan from Radio New Zealand about the project.
