As part of the Wāhine Take Action series, Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero (Central City Library) presents a feature exhibition showcasing Aotearoa women who took steps to create social change; from the 19th century to the present day.
From the loudest of roars to the gentlest of whispers, the exhibition highlights the tools and tactics women have used to fight their causes and support their communities – from marching on Parliament to wearing a badge.
Original photographs, letters and posters will be on display, including unique material from the archives of the Auckland Women's Centre and the Broadsheet Collective.
