Studio One Toi Tū: Creative Residents Exhibition

ECHO BONE showcases contemporary ceramics and sculptural works by Teresa Peters.

Peters uses the term ‘echo’, which relates both to the natural phenomenon and the Greek myth it inspired, to explore the connection between the natural world and the constructs humans build within it.

Her works take on the status of totems to question values in the Anthropocene age where tension is rapidly increasing between human activity and the environment.
