Studio One Toi Tū: Creative Residents Exhibition

Studio One Toi Tū resident Sophie Watson shares her personal investigation into her grandfather Walter’s disappearance in 1951, and the discovery of his remains in 1963.

Watson has conducted archival and interview-based research into accounts and speculations about what happened.

Her findings have become the basis for a comic/graphic novel and Unearthed also features her process of crafting a narrative work from her research.
