Our Resource Recovery Depot is opening its doors, so you can get a better understanding of recycling and repurposing items.

Ask your burning questions and take a tour of our Resource Recovery Depot with Sarah Jane (SJ) Murray, Waste Team Lead & Compost Collective Project Manager and Thomas Peters, Assistant Manager, Waste Initiatives.

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a leading waste minimisation operation?

We’re opening up our doors so you can learn more about what happens to all sorts of items, from batteries to lightbulbs, to ensure they don’t end up in landfills.

Find out more about Sustainable Salons, an exciting initiative helping the hair and beauty industry to be more environmentally conscious, through responsible reuse and recycling of hair, salon chemicals, razors and more.

Browse our Adopt A Resource space, full of weird, wonderful and useful things, which are available to buy or for koha.

You’ll go home with a better understanding of how to recycle right and an appreciation for how to minimise the environmental impact of products, right through to the end of their life.

Visitors are required to wear covered shoes/boots.
