Saturday 4 July

10am-10.30am: Family Fun Wriggle & Rhyme 

Wriggle and Rhyme is a fun, free programme that provides positive movement experiences to stimulate development of both the brain and body for babies 0 – 2 years. Everyone in the family is welcome to join.

2pm-3pm: Saturday Minecraft

Minecraft session for kids at Papakura Library. Meet other like-minded gamers and share gaming tips and tricks.

Monday 6 July

2.30pm-3.30pm: LEGO fun

Fun play with LEGO for kids aged 5 to 12 years old.

Tuesday 7 July

10am-10.30am: Reo & Rhyme

Come along and enjoy this Maori/English bilingual rhymetime session at Papakura Library. Suitable for children aged 18 months to 3 years old.

3.30pm-4.30pm: Minecraft club

Minecraft session for kids at Papakura Library. Meet other like-minded gamers and share gaming tips and tricks.

Wednesday 8 July

11am-12pm: Matariki Tititorea

Learn about the Matariki stars and the tititorea dance. Suitable for kids aged 5 to 12 years old.

Thursday 9 July

11am-12pm: Matariki Fried Bread

Come along and witness a demonstration of making fried bread. Get to taste and see if you like it. Suitable for families with children ages 8 years and above. Adult supervision is required (no drop offs).

3.30pm-4.30pm: Ukulele Club

Come along to play easy songs, sing along, meet new people and have fun! Suitable for kids aged 10 and up.

Learn about the Matariki stars and create your own paper weaving star. Suitable for kids aged 5 to 12 years old.

Thursday 16 July

10.30am-11.30am: Rock Art

Learn the right techniques for creating wonderful rock art. This workshop is presented by Papakura Art Group. Workshop is limited to 10 people. Booking is required and please phone 09 377 0209 or enquire at the library desk. For kids aged 10 and up.
