The NZSO, conducted by Hamish McKeich, returns to the Auckland Town Hall with a symphony and songs.

Opening with Berlioz’s energetic Le Corsaire Overture, renowned tenor Simon O’Neill joins the Orchestra to perform a selection of works from two of the greatest Romantic composers - Mahler and Richard Strauss.

The grand finale is the 20th century masterpiece: Prokofiev’s victorious Symphony No. 5.
