Hunted by the Germans during World War ll, spymaster Ron Jeffery was referred to by the Gestapo as ‘one of the foxiest devils in Europe’.
Jeffery, born of a Kiwi father and English mother, outwitted and escaped enemy opposition helped by the Polish Resistance.
