Arts in the Ville is an annual festival and art trail held at Labour Weekend, in Helensville, which celebrates the many local artists in the area.

This coming 24-26 October 2020 will be the sixth year in a row this event has been held.

Come and take advantage of this great opportunity to view, discuss and purchase art pieces from more than 75 artists across 33 venues.

These include open studios, venues and other pop-up spaces which will be marked clearly, and can be found on the map provided from the website as a download, or on site in Helensville during the festival weekend.

Helensville will be buzzing with visitors taking advantage of the vibrant display of art.

Join in and you’ll experience a variety of media from sculpture, embroidery, painting, pottery, ceramic, etchings, glasswork, millinery, repurposed mixed media and engineered creations, for both your indoor and outdoor spaces.

In many cases you will have the opportunity to meet the artist in their studio, discuss pieces with them, and sometimes see them at work.

Most pieces will be for sale.

All venues are within the Helensville township. Plenty of free parking, cafes, sausage sizzle and inventive transport option.

In some instances you can try a new skill.

See artists on our website, where you can download the flier and map, and get all information about the event.

See website for the extra events, including our version of Antiques Road Show, a Treasure Hunt with prize by our own famous Jeff Thomson, plus live music throughout and an open mic poetry evening.

All free.
