Proudly support by Waitemata local board and Auckland Council, this event aims to contribute to our community’s recovery post Covid-19 by building community resilience, fostering social cohesion, and inspiring our community to live healthy active lifestyle.

This event is free and open to everyone aged 9 years above. Adult supervisor is required on site to keep their children in sight.

Please wear sport shoes, comfortable clothes, sunglasses and hats for hot weather and raincoats for showers. Please bring water and water bottle.

If there are showers, the event will be delivered in front of the shops in the square. The event will be cancelled and postponed due to undesirable weather or lockdown restrictions and will be rescheduled until further notice.

How to get there? (Address: 24 Remuera Road, Newmarket, Auckland)

  • Driving: get driving direction from Google Map
  • Car park: no car park inside the Newmarket Station Square. The nearby parking is Wilson car park which can be accessed via Rumuera Road and Nufields Street.
  • Public Transportation: you can reach Newmarket Station Square using the train or the bus. The Newmarket Station Square is just outside the Newmarket Train Station. Numerous buses pass though Newmarket Station Square, including 75, 333X, 419, 514, 515, 751 and 781. Stop ID: 7400. Stop F Newmarket is just 1 min walk away from the Square.
  • Newmarket Station Square can be accessed via Broadway and Remuera Road on foot.

Medical condition

Participants with specific medical conditions such as diabetes must come prepared, carry appropriate medication, and will be asked to advise the event contact person their contact details, any condition that may affect their ability to participate safely in the activity and an action plan.

Participants with severe/specific medical conditions or fail to bring/take medicine are advised not to attend the activity. Individuals participate at their own risk if they insist to attend.

Covid-19 health & safety

At alert level 2, participants need to scan Covid Tracer QR code, maintain social distance, use hand sanitiser as well as follow other Covid-19 health & safety guidance from Ministry of Health. Please stay at home if you are unwell and have symptoms such as fever, cough and running nose.

Media consent

Participants need to fill in their name and whether they agree photos and videos to be taken for non-profit promotion and reporting purpose.
