We’re very happy we can invite you to Matuku Link again, after a very ‘different’ year.

We’ve got loads of seeds to plant, trees to pot up, weeds to keep from smothering our natives… plus lots to experience and admire. Listen to the matata (fernbird), try to spot a pateke (brown teal), a weta or our elusive namesake matuku (bittern).

Have a walk on our recently finished boardwalk and see the upgrades to our barn, slowly transforming it into our Wetland Education Centre.

No need to bring any tools, but do bring your own water bottle, wear sturdy (and super clean - kauri dieback) shoes. It’s easily accessible, family friendly, parking on site.
