For as long as there have been cities, there have been wanderers who observe various elements that contribute to the construction and fabric of these built environments.

Deborah Crowe’s moving image work, Urban Reflections, projects real and hypothetical spaces inspired by local surroundings.

Photographs shot while wandering in central Tāmaki Makaurau are woven together to create digital collages proposing re-imagined urban environments and spaces.

Sited in Sidewalk Gallery, this work is fabricated for viewing from the street, after dark.
