A Krump theatre dance work and investigation that uncovers the boy to recover a man.

Created as part of the Pacific Dance 2019 Choreolab, 'HYPAMASS' has continued to evolve and deepen.

It is now a trio with three highly acclaimed and respected Krumpers within Aotearoa.

"I think it is fitting for HYPAMASS to have its first full length debut with Pacific Dance Festival in 2021 as it was first seeded from the Choreolab in 2019 - would feel like the circle is complete. But also because of the great relevance and important nature of this show - exposing love-obstacles within men's behaviour and chests, presenting attempts to release them in order to allow oneself to extend and receive intimacy, so love may flow - Ina ia sosolo le alofa." - Ooshcon

In a nation with suicidal rates are at a global high, with the majority of which being Maori and Pasifika young men, incarceration rates not decreasing, the presence of domestic violence and racism, HYPAMASS calls to look within ourselves as men and expose the learnt apathetic behaviour's to review and shift, towards Love.
