Te Ara i Whiti – The Lightpath – opened on 3 December and Aucklanders flocked to enjoy the dazzling magenta spectacle.

Students from Freemans Bay School were the first to ride the new path, after the ribbon was cut by Transport Minister Simon Bridges and MP Nikki Kaye.
