Day, Me Rongo: Walk in Rainbows is the second part of the work, Night and Day by Lonnie Hutchinson and Reuben Paterson.
Hutchinson’s Night/ I Love You will be familiar to many declaring its message of unconditional love in huge neon letters.
Walk in Rainbows was installed last week. It is a curtain of prisms created by Reuben Paterson and Walter Foott that casts rainbows on the concrete using art to add a bit of wonder to the urban landscape.
