BodyFX of Morningside took out the Supreme Award at the Albert-Eden Business Awards 2018 gala dinner on 22 May.

Judges praised the talent and commitment to service exhibited by the specialist cosmetics business.

"A fantastic local success story. Community advocacy is genuine and clearly customers are the focus. An all-inclusive business. 80 awards. Wow!"

The mystery shopper was also impressed, awarding an almost perfect score.

Local favourite Satya Spice and Chai Shop took home People’s Choice Award the second time in a row.

I’m struck by the sheer excellence in service, exciting innovation and quality of relationships with customers, staff, suppliers and the community that Albert-Eden businesses exhibit," said Albert-Eden Local Board Chair Peter Haynes on the evening.

"You made the job of the judges very hard – choosing excellence from so much excellence is difficult."

He acknowledged the contribution of everyone involved in making the evening and the awards such a success.

“Albert-Eden Local Board supports its businesses in a range of ways. We have strategically funded business associations in village centres to ensure they are strong and resilient to meet the future, and we’re undertaking upgrades where the street environment is lacking. And these awards allow us to showcase the achievements of Albert-Eden businesses.”
