The ASB Stadium at Selwyn College Kohimarama was recently renamed the Barfoot and Thompson Stadium.
“The stadium is one of the many local community facilities that receives Auckland Council funding, reflecting the public access to the facility shared by Selwyn College,” says Cr Desley Simpson.
Host to the 1990 Commonwealth Games gymnastics competition, the stadium is home to many of the area’s local sporting clubs as well as community facilities including a preschool, gym, physio, after-school care and school holiday programmes.
