The City Rail Link project (CRL) has just released a fly-through video to give Aucklanders a look at how amazing Albert Street will look when the construction work is finished.
CRL is not just about a rail project so a lot of careful thought is being given into the opportunities presented when the construction teams leave.
The CRL work in Albert Street is also a chance to upgrade it – ensuring a high-quality public space for workers and business owners along the route. This includes wider footpaths, trees, bus lanes and a pedestrian-friendly area.

The CRL is due for completion in 2024.
