Nominations open for 2019 Manurewa Community Volunteer Awards
Time to get nominating for this year's Manurewa Community Volunteer Awards

Volunteers are the glue that helps communities stick together – so Manurewa Local Board is celebrating their efforts with the Manurewa Community Volunteer Awards.

Nominations are now open for the 2019 awards, which showcase the work of individuals and organisations that serve their community.

“We’ve committed to recognising our volunteers with these awards for several years now, and we are always really impressed at the great work people in our community do for others without expecting anything in return,” says Manurewa Local Board chair, Angela Dalton.

“These awards are our way to say thank you and to put their efforts in the spotlight for a change.”

Get your nominations in by 4pm Sunday 11 August. The recipients are announced at a special event on Friday 6 September.
