Waterwise Workshop

Join the EcoMatters Homes Team for a free online workshop, as part of the inaugural 2021 Auckland Climate Festival.

Learn some tips for saving water in your home. We’ll show you easy ways to check for leaks, how to measure your water flow rates, information about different hot water systems, plus lots more. There will also be plenty of time for questions at the end.

After having registered, you will receive a link and a password the day prior to the event. Follow the link on the day to attend our online workshop!

*****

This is a free workshop. However, capacity is limited so we do require you to reserve your spot with a free ticket. We will also use your registration to send you workshop reminders and advise you of any event changes. If you find that you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket so that someone else on the waitlist won't miss out. Thank you!

This is one of a series of Waterwise workshops being held throughout Auckland Climate Festival.

Brought to you by EcoMatters in partnership with Watercare.

EcoMatters supports the community with knowledge and tools to restore nature, reduce waste, ride and fix bikes, and live more sustainably. EcoMatters' aim is to be a tohu (focal point) to connect people and the environment and to nurture a sense of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) for our beautiful planet.

Watercare is New Zealand's largest company in the water and wastewater industry. Watercare supplies more than 400 million litres of water to Auckland every day, drawing water from 27 sources, treating it and supplying it to homes and businesses via a vast network of pipes. Watercare collects, treats and disposes of around 396 million litres of wastewater daily, including trade waste from industry. Watercare also carries out significant work to upgrade and build infrastructure, so as to maintain service levels and provide capacity for a fast-growing population.
