This year, Gareth Shute published a North Shore Storymap on the music history website audioculture.co.nz
The map captures the live scene from 1920s dances in Milford cinemas through to Lorde performing in the heart of Devonport.
Gareth will explain how this scene reflects wider changes that took place in the Auckland music. There’ll be plenty of wonderful photos too.
