Capturing Kahlo: Paint & Punch Sessions

Immerse yourself in the life of Frida Kahlo with a fun and social paint and festive punch night.

Pick out the date that best suits you and your friends and grab your free mezcal punch cocktail, be guided by artist and tutor Abbey Lyman, listen to Mexican jazz beats and create your own Frida-inspired still-life.

Programmed as part of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera: Art and Life in Modern Mexico, at this evening of creative fun you will encounter a specially prepared still-life installation to explore and paint.

Learn more about Frida’s life as you discover each item in the installation and channel her painterly flair in your own creations.

Auckland’s top mezcal and wine shop, La Fuente, will be there to offer their top selection of specially curated cocktails and drinks, as well as delicious, authentic Mexican snacks.

All materials are provided and you take home with your own Frida-esque painting!

The art supplies for this event are proudly supported by Gordon Harris. Please note this event is R18
