Bring your clean, pre-loved clothing to be cut and woven into a community tapestry, rag rugs, or wall hangings! Choose your own adventure.

Learn about this ancient craft through making and discover new ways to repurpose your old cotton t-shirt.

Local artist and weaver Esther Toclo will guide you through basic weaving techniques, tips, and tricks.

All experience levels and ages are welcome (ages 16 and under must be supervised by guardians). Haere mai!

During school term times only, 5 Sessions:

  • TUESDAYS, 2-4 PM: April 2 and 25
  • SUNDAYS, 12-1 PM: April 2, 16 and 30
