The Manurewa Potters Club was formed in 1974 and enabled local ceramic artists and potters a space to gather and create pottery.
This exhibition features works from the Manurewa Potters Club made by glazed raku firings, created with high temperatures, and unglazed pit firings.
The Club has done several glazed raku firings over the past few years with exciting results. Manurewa Potters Club is delighted to be able to present recent experimental and traditional works.
If you are interested, the club runs workshops every Wednesday in the Nathan Homestead Sculpture Studio.
