Experience the crafty creativity of our tamariki at the free Eye on Nature Creative Arts Exhibition these school holidays!
South & East Auckland kindergartens and primary schools have been challenged to create art around the Eye on Nature 2023 theme, Waste, making use of sustainable and re-purposed materials. The winning schools and kindergartens will be awarded cash prizes and art supply vouchers, with a total prize pool worth $2,550!
Run by the Beautification Trust, Eye on Nature Creative Arts is all about teaching tamariki to love the environment and live more sustainably in a fun, creative and hands-on way.
The exhibition will be on display in the Auckland Botanic Gardens’ Gallery space in the heart of Manurewa. Be sure to vote in the People’s Choice category for your favourite piece of art!
This event is part of Auckland Climate Festival, a month full of climate action from 31 August to 29 September 2023.
