Digging up the Past

Monday 25th September, 10.30 - 11:30am

Are you a treasure hunter in training? Hear from a REAL archaeologist, David Veart, on what the most unlikely of objects can tell us about people in the past – and do some digging of your own. Suits children aged 5-10 with their caregivers. David is the author of Digging up the Past: Archaeology for the Young and Curious. Bookings essential: https://digging_up_the_past.eventbrite.com

Map Making

Create a treasure map then test it out. Recommended for children aged 5-12.

Ferromagnetic Metal Detector
