This film will be screened on the ground floor at Central City Library Marble Wall from 7 Feb until 29 Feb.

David K Shields is exhibiting his project TRAVERSE at the Central City Library for Pride Month.

Engage with the diverse and complex ways in which queer identity is understood by those who live it and how this may have changed inter-generationally. The intention of this project is to further strengthen the connectivity between all sub-groups of Aotearoa NZ’s Queer and Gender Diverse community, impacting conversation and relationships and creating a shared movement of solidarity for the future growth of the broader community.

A diverse range of communities are represented within each aspect of the work, and this will continue to grow within the ongoing kaupapa by the further addition to the collective of representatives across the spectrums of race, gender and age.

Please join us in launching this insightful work by David K Shields on Wed 7 Feb from 5pm.
