This is a collection of specially curated paintings celebrating architecture and the sea, and shared heritage on this city of islands. Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa / the Pacific Ocean flows through these paintings in a journey of life, tide and the vessels of a port city.
Through teals, turquoise and all the colours of the sky's mirrored light, the Pacific Ocean frames Tāmaki Makaurau, reflecting city and urban scapes.
Located in a working studio, the paintings are displayed in a historic Mt Eden villa gallery setting with the artist on site.
