Follow the well-established Auckland Peace Heritage Walk from the VAANA murals at the corner of Ponsonby and Karangahape roads, through to important peace and justice heritage places and events – including the sites of the founding of Auckland by Governor Hobson and Ngāti Whātua and of the bombing of the Rainbow Warrior at Marsden Wharf. Join your guide, peace activist Richard Northey, for this special walk exploring stories of conflict and protests for peace.
To guide the walking group safely it must be limited to 40 people. It is quite a walk so participating people must have a reasonable level of fitness.
