South Auckland is home to one of the largest Pacific populations in the world. Papakura Museum is proud to host this special event that celebrates our vibrant and diverse Pacific community.
Join us to learn about the many Pacific connections in Papakura including a Clevedon-born photographer who lived in Samoa and produced world-famous images of the island during the early 20th century.
At this all-ages event, everyone can participate in making tapa, tivaevae, lei, and learn about the significance of tatau. See you there!
