Register to join our Raumati Reads summer reading programme these school holidays!
Your activity guide includes exciting activities, a reading tracker and a place to write down your thoughts on the stories you read or listen to. There's even a certificate at the end!

Photo Competition: Favourite Summer Reading Spot
Where is your favourite spot to read in the summer? Is it at a library? At your local park? Or maybe at the beach? Submit a photo of yourself (cover face with a book) enjoying some summer reading at your favourite spot.
Send your photo in (with a first name and age) by 26 January for a chance to win a prize and be displayed at the library.

Wed 8 January 2-3pm: LEGO Challenge
Let your imagination go wild and have a blast creating with LEGO in the library. What will you create this time?
Suitable for all ages. Parental supervision is recommended for younger tamariki.
Fri 10 January @2pm: Movie Time!
Join us for a fun family friendly movie session at the library. Popcorn provided.

Mon 13 January 2-3pm: Paint & Sip
Make your very own paint by numbers and enjoy it over a cool summery drink. All materials provided.

Wed 15 January 2-3pm: Feather Bookmark
Get crafty and make yourself a colourful feather bookmark to use to keep track of your reading this summer (and beyond!). All materials provided.

Fri 17 January 2-3pm: GKR Karate
Get active and learn self-defense techniques with GKR Karate.

Mon 20 January 2-3pm: Nature Inspired Arts & Crafts
Get creative and make a piece of artwork inspired by nature to take home. All materials provided.

Wed 22 January 2-3pm: Beads & Beats
Bring a friend, family, or just yourself, and join us at the library for an afternoon of beading and beating fun. All materials provided.
